The Garlic Bread in the US as in all Anglo-Saxon countries, it is a little french notrePréfou, you know. It is a specialty vendéenne composed mainly of bread with butter and garlic. A pure delight for the aperitif. Well you have to like garlic, like this recipe.
I discovered this institution in the United States when I spent a year in foster care. Even then (and it starts backup!)Youare used every where
especially in the typical American diners restaurants. Each family had its own version, prepared for evenings in front of the TV or to share around a barbecue.
I loved especially the Garlic bread when it contained cheese. Most often, it was Cheddar. Today, I do not get tired to prepare. Here here my version with mozzarella. 150 000 calorie slice, but you tell me the news ... and your guests too!
